During the Month of May, the Indiana PGA and the USO of Indiana are partnering together for the second consecutive year to honor America’s service members and raise funds to benefit the USO of Indiana and the Indiana PGA HOPE. Over thirty participating facilities around the state of Indiana will be hosting special events and tournaments during the month of May.

“The Indiana PGA is excited to partner with the USO of Indiana for Military Appreciation Month,” said Tony Pancake, Indiana PGA President and Director of Golf at Crooked Stick GC. “We recognize the tremendous sacrifice by our military and their families so this is a great opportunity for us to show our gratitude. It also gives us the chance to raise funds to support their programs and allow us to further our support through the PGA HOPE initiative.”

PGA Hope provides Veterans with golf instruction at no cost taught by local PGA professionals. It is a two-step program beginning with a Down Range Clinic and followed by weekly HOPE sessions led by PGA professionals over the next 5 – 8 weeks.

“We are really excited about this partnership with the Indiana PGA. Golf is a sport that really resonates with our service members, as there are military courses around the world,” remarked Charles Ridings, USO of Indiana’s Executive Director. “Supporting the USO of Indiana and PGA HOPE is a great way to take care of those that have taken a pledge to protect us here in the state.”
