USO Mobile
For over 82 years, the USO has been dedicated to supporting our troops with both permanent, USO Center facilities and through Mobile, expeditionary programs. Since 2007, USO Mobiles Centers have allowed the USO to extend its reach to service men and women throughout the United States; These Mobile USOs can deliver the USO’s cherished amenities on the go, enabling us to connect with a broader audience of military members and their families nationwide and abroad.
Acting as a USO Center on wheels, these state-of-the-art vehicles focus on delivering USO Programs and Services where they are needed most. The core focus of the program is on areas of the country where there are not currently any brick-and-mortar USO facilities, National Guard annual training events, natural disasters and hardship locations.
Over the last several years, the USO Mobile program has expanded its fleet to include three large “recreational vehicles”, five Sprinter Vans, three Food Mobiles, a Gaming Mobile, and a Fitness Mobile, providing a wide range of support capabilities to service members and their families. USO’s mobile vehicles provide services varying from Xbox gaming, movie rooms, food services including coffee and snacks, Wi-Fi, internal and external sound systems, and outdoor games.
USO Mobile vehicles are located in California, Mississippi, Utah, Colorado, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Missouri, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, collectively covering the lower-48 and providing support to communities with large military populations and geographic limitations.
USO’s Mobile fleet has provided support to service members responding to natural disasters such as Hurricane Idalia in 2023. To learn more about the USO Mobile Program visit mobile.uso.org.
